Vac-In-Stuff is a chemical mixture of polyalkyleneoxide modified heptamethyltrisiloxane (84%) and allyloxypolyethyleneglycol methyl ether (16%) manufactured by Momentive Performance Materials, which sells this product under the tradename of Silwet L-77. ^¶Notice - Effective November 1, 2010, in compliance of IATA regulations concerning air-transport of Silwet L-77, cat. no. VIS-02, the 35 mL-size container of Vac-In-Stuff (Silwet L-77) has been discontinued and replaced with a 30 mL-size container designated cat. no. VIS-30. Otherwise, the product is the same. Vac-In-Stuff is an essential infiltration media ingredient for all Agrobacterium-based transformations of Arabidopsis and other plants. *10 mL and 30 mL are sufficient quantity to prepare about 33 L and 99 L of vacuum infiltration medium when used at the recommended rate of 0.03%, v/v, respectively.
